Biography

Sylvie Adams is a Canadian artist currently living in Montreal (Quebec). She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions and she has participated in many prestigious international contemporary art fairs – in the United States (including Scope, Context and Art NewYork), Europe and Asia.

Selected by Art Wynwood’s curator and director for an exhibition in honor of Shepard Fairey (also known as Obey Giant and author of Obama’s “Hope” poster) in Miami, her work has also been noticed by international journalists and critics from Blouin Art Info and Artnet News, and recognized in Vie des Arts et La Presse for her first solo exhibition in Montreal.

Her work can also be found in private and corporate collections, including the collections of Rio Tinto Alcan, The Québec Government Office in London, UK, and Norwegian Cruise Line.
