My work "Trace of a Forgotten Path" was selected as an online semi-finalist in this year's Bombay Sapphire Artisan series competition. Out of more than 5,500 participants, 100 were selected for this online competition! Our work will compete with the semi-finalists chosen in the gallery phase - and the two most popular will go to Scope Miami, one of the most prestigious Contemporary Art Fairs in the world!

The Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series is an international search to find the next big name in visual arts. Created in partnership with Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, the Artisan Series offers emerging artists an international platform to showcase their work. The Artisan Series celebrates artists whose imagination and creativity transform how we see the world. This year the contest has expanded to include an online competition and exhibitions in galleries in 14 regions across the US and Canada: New York, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal, Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, and Austin.

Sixteen artists – one from each region and two chosen by popular ballot online – will be chosen to showcase at the grand finale event at SCOPE Miami Beach during Art Basel. Out of that group, one lucky grand prize winner will be invited to have a solo exhibition at SCOPE NYC in March, 2017.

The entries were reviewed by a panel of international judges with the following criteria in mind: Line, Composition, Creativity & Uniqueness, Execution of Medium & Difficulty of Process and Original Work.
